Chamber members are eligible for a FREE annual utilities review as part of their Chamber membership service. This gives businesses all the professional support needed to stem energy wastage and purchase gas and electricity at the most competitive prices.  We can also help companies reduce their water bills and manage their wastewater.

Pay less for your gas and electricity

UAL manages £175 million worth of energy contracts on behalf of UK business. We use our national purchasing power and expertise to find your business the cheapest deal on gas and electricity.  With our team of expert analysts we offer the technical support to check for billing errors and ensure customers have the right tariffs and supply capacity to suit their precise needs. We will deal with the power suppliers on your behalf to save you time, effort and frustration.

Water and wastewater

UAL can help your business flush out spirallng water costs by identifying any anomalies in your water bills and recovering any overcharges dating back over a six year period. We can also advise on other methods of cost cutting, such as total water management leak detection and wastewater management, as well as ensuring that users have the correct meter size.  

Energy efficiency

We can carry out FREE on-site Carbon Trust funded energy surveys for eligible companies and help implement the energy efficiency recommendations. Eligible companies can also apply for a FREE lighting and heating surveys.
